For the first time, Albania is going to participate in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest, that this year will be held in Amsterdam. After rumors going around, RTSH officially confirmed the participation, after showing a commercial video for the upcoming show.
The interested artists should send a song by September 14th in the studios of RTSH. The artist must be at least 10 years old and mostly 15. The song should be sent in a CD, including the instrumental version. The song can not be longer than 2:45 minutes.

So, not only is Ukraine sending something that is not kiddy pop and is actually really great in another genre to JESC, but my favorite country is participating. I may just have to watch it this year…
Moldova also will be in Amsterdam! And may be Azerbaijan will make his debut in the contest, too… 🙂
