Iceland: Check out at Gréta & Jónsi’s outfits!

The Icelandic representatives at the 2012 Eurovision Song Contest, Gréta Salomé & Jónsi have revealed the outfit  they will wear during their performance in Baku.

Gréta will be wearing an elegant long-tailed black dress with some ornaments on the skirt and the top. And will be carrying her violin as she did on the Icelandic National final.

Jónsi will be wearing an elegant kind of retro suit and a black boots.

This outfit is appropriate for the kind of song they will perform, good choice!

And finally here they are:

  1. I like it a lot too. Very classy with a slight regional touch … just like their song. Very well done! 🙂

  2. For me both are horrible….frozen somewhere in the past..this is not good for ESC…we want and need smth modern and current, his outfit is really AWFUL, but song is very old fashioned and boring, so outfit must fit it I guess…
He reminds me of Argentinian gauchos, but brown thing around neck is really HORRIBLE, how that can be with black suite!? :/

I hope and sometimes think it’s fanwank, I would like to see it staying in the semi!

  3. Loreen is gonna kick their asses so heavily that they won’t be able to realize where they are! LOL 😛 😀 They will flop like he did in 2004! 😀

  4. LOL On AKOE they have the video of the presentation. Both look so uncomfortable with their roles as models …

  5. Their ESC look is excellent. I must say that this look asks for the Icelandic version of the song, but that will never happen.

  6. She looks like Brünnhilde the Valkyrie. And he looks like… well, I don’t know, a mix between a count from the 19th century and a security guard. Not that bad, nice that they are dressed in black and white which will fit their song better. But of course, I would have preferred to have them dressed in traditional Icelandic Þjóðbúningurinn. Good luck!
