14 countries were represented this year, 7 qualified for the grand final, but only 1 won the first place, it was Norway. The jury only revealed the first four places which were for:
- Eivind Holtsmark Ringstad – Norway
- Emmanuel Tjeknavorian – Austria
- Narek Kazazyan – Armenia
- Jagoda Krzemińska – Poland
Eivind, the winner, played the Viola and the piece he played tonight was Viola concerto, 2 & 3 mov. by Béla Viktor János Bartók. Tha song managed to impress and amaze the jury, which gave him the victory!
Emmanuel, the first runner up, played the violin and the piece he played tonight was Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D minor, Op. 47 3rd mov. Allegro ma non tanto by Jean Sibelius.
Narek the second runner up played the Kanun and the piece he played tonight was Concerto for Qanun and Orchestra No. 2 E-Major by Khachatur Avetisyan.
And Jagoda the third runner up played the Flute and the piece she played tonight was Concertino by Cécile Chaminade.
